OMG How Much Tax??????????

Evening all

Ok, so I may have mentioned my job.  I only work a few hours a day a few days week.  So this month I earnt a total of £221 (in job B) which I have already spent on Chirstmas presents and needed to pay back into bill account.  Well, the F***ing B******* took £75 basic rate tax :o  As you can tell, I may be a little bit peeved at that!  All because I am also earning £16 a week in job A!  WTF!!!!!!

B - nothing - too friggin' angry to eat
L - nothing, by the time I sorted out the sodding inland revenue it was too late and was too angry
T - omelette pizza

Snacks - nothing

Drinks - 2 cups of tea, 1 pint of water and having a glass of wine after my stressful day

Exercise - grinding my teeth in anger lol

Joints - ok

Asthma - ok

Am now crocheting a dinosaur for my neice for xmas. :D  have not done much, too friggin' angry! lol

Another Hectic Day

Hiya

Another day of running around but I did manage lunch :D  And also made to feel stupid spending an hour printing 4 photos in Asda!  But thats just me!!! lol

Nearly fell asleep in work today.  Had 2 of the toddlers in creche fall asleep on me, so I nearly did, but it was the same when my little 'uns were young, if they fell asleep on me then I just HAD to have a nap! lol

Anyway, need to sort out xmas stuff this evening and hopefully an early night.

Too Much To Do, Too Little Time

Hiya

Need to be quick, got to put kids to bed then do the 2 huge piles of ironing plus what is hung up on radiators :o

L - nothing, went straight from work toxmas  shopping to school run to homework, to prep tea, to dancing, to shopping, to finish tea (for hubby and 2 kids), to dancing, then daughters tea and mine and now I have just sorted out sofa to get ironing done.

Drinks - 2 cups of tea and 1 pint of water

Exercise - none

Joints - ok, clicked a bit after being sat on floor all morning in work lol

Asthma - ok

I am so unbelievably busy for the rest of week.  Working mornings, afternoons running around sorting stuff, cleaning, shopping and evenings sorting presents that have to be done by weekend. 

Best get on with it then so I can sit down.

Burger King mmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Evening all

Its teacher training day today so after making the kids 'help' me decide which new glasses to get which took 2 hours I treated them to burger king.  I had a voucher for a free meal so had the double bacon cheeseburger without the bun and fries (kids helped with the fries).

L - bacon double cheeseburger with no bun or fries
T - cheese and salad

Drinks - 3 cups of tea and 1 pint

I am eating so much cheese these days, really need to cut down on it (again) sure I tried before.

Off Galavanting Again

Hiya

Well, I have been away for the weekend at my sisters.  I was good but I did have some of my neices home made choc birthday cake (twice).  :D

Friday:

B - ham and cheese omelette
L - chicken with coleslaw
T - omelette pizza

Drinks - tea, water, 3 pints of lager and too much wine

Saturday

B - bacon, fried eggs and grilled tom
L - ham, cheese and salad
T - 16oz rump steak with salad and very nice it was too :D and a small slither of choc birthday cake

Drinks - tea and 2 pints lager and even more wine

Today

B - bacon and fried eggs
L - roast beef, green beans, carrots and butternut squash and another slither of cake
T - cheese, pickled onions and a few crackers

Drinks - tea and squash.  having a cheeky glass of wine now.

Feeling quite tired.  Didnt leave my sisters until after grandprix so got home past 8pm so by the time kids ate their beans on toast and went to bed I could not be bothered to cook!

Oh No, Fav Wine on Offer

Evening all

How hectic was I yesterday.  Work then cleaning, then pick kids up from school, then homework and reading, then pick my eldest up from football, then tea, then take my daughter to dancing, then I popped to Asda to see if they sold break light lightbulbs, then pick my daughter up then home to collapse.  They didnt sell them but the car magically fixed itself overnight but they have reduced my fav wine to £4 a bottle.  Well, if its still that price next week I will have to get some (lots) :D

Yesterday:

I broke my glasses last night, so hubby kindly superglued them last night for me.  They are still fixed! Yay, but I have found a website that sells them for £10 delivered or Tesco does them for £15.  I think I will probably go with tesco because I can try them on and I dont need to do any measurements for them.  :D

That Bloated Feeling

Evening all

We had pizza last night.  And OMG did I feel bloated afterwards, all night and today.  Not had anything to eat and really dont want to! :(  The kids and hubby are finishing the last of the pizza and after I pick my daughter up from dancing I will have an omelette pizza.

L - nothing
T - omelette pizza

Snacks - nothing

Drinks - 3 cups of tea and 2 pints water

Exercise - none

Joints - ok today

Asthma - felt a bit wheezy when I got up, maybe to do with pizza????????????

So lesson learnt!  Even when we have takeaway, I should probably steer clear of it!

Takeaway - naughty naughty naughty

Evening all

So I am posting early as I know we are having takeaway tonight.  Its hubbys birthday so leaving it up to him.  So we will be having either chinese (I will have meat and veg) or pizza.  Even though I want to be good, I really want a real pizza! lol

L - chicken, ham, cheese with homemade coleslaw
T - will be takeaway

Need to Make Sure I Eat

Hiya

Getting into the bad habbit of skipping meals now.  I know I shouldnt and today I really had no excuse but after making the kids their pancakes, I just wanted to sit down with my cup of tea and have a quick look on line in peace.  Then because I didnt eat breakfast, I didnt want lunch which again, stupid.  But I did have a good tea.  I HAVE to have breakfast tomorrow as working and I hate working when hungry. 

B - nothing
L - nothing
T - roast chicken, broccoli, carrot, gravy and then I had a slice of hubby's pre birthday cake (dont ask!) lemon drizzle, was nice.  Tomorrow he has his actual birthday cake that is choc but will try to resist that I think, cos if I go down that road..............

Exercise - none

Joints - clicky but not hurting

Asthma - ok

Watched the film last night.  Wasnt the best, but there were 4 bits that did scare me sufficiently to run to the toilet and run back.  Can I count that as exercise!!!! lol

Another Bad Day with Food :(

Hiya

I have had yet another bad with food.  Again I didnt eat breakfast.  I need to find something that I can eat easily on a morning.   Tomorrow will be ok, I have an extra chorizio burger that I will have with a fried egg in the morning.  Maybe I should batch cook some burgers for the mornings. :D

B - nothing
L - nothing
T - chorizio burger with salad

Snacks - nothing

Drinks - tea and squash.  Just about to pour myself a large glass of chenin blanc :D

Exercise - 30 mins walking

Joints - aching but that could be cos of cold

Asthma - ok

I am feeling very cold today, just put my fluffy slippers on and will get my blanket with kids in bed.  Then I can enjoy my glass of wine nice and warm.  Or I could make mulled wine, I am sure that will warm me up.  Hhhhmmmmm will decide when kids in bed. :D

Can I use the Work Excuse??????

Hiya

Ok, 2 days, I know!  But I am still struggling with time.  Even hubby did the hoovering! :o  And I only work mornings.  Imagine if I worked full time!

So for Wednesday

B - pork and cheese in mayo (not something i would have again, lovely for lunch but not breakfast)
L - ham and salad
T - mince and veg with salad

exercise - about an hours walk

asthma - fine

and today

B - nothing - too much of rush to get kids to school and me home for lift to work
L - nothing - by time i finished work, walked off some anger, it was time to pick kids up
T - minted lamb chops with pea :o

Snacks - hand ful of kids sweets

exercise - so much walking my feel hurt.  3 school runs and into town and round town

asthma - ok

I am hoping the walking has offset the sweets :D  but in my defence i did feel faint and i know it was a stupid thing to do which is why i do try to eat breakfast otherwise i do miss lunch sometimes.

How Do They Do It?

Evening all

Ok, totally off topic.  But as you may have noticed I am now working more.  I went from the occasional few hours a week to 3 mornings a week to this week and next working every morning.  Whilst I am pleased I am working, I am struggling to get other stuff done.  By the time I get home from work, have some lunch (when I have time) I can only get 1 or 2 things done.  Today, I finished at 12.45 so by the time I popped in to my mates to pick a few things up, shopping then home, I had to walk up school.  I really need to get more organised.  So this weekend I am going to try to clean the whole house and then will only have basic cleaning next week.  Plan A! lol

L - none, didnt get home in time
T - pork, cheese, mayo and salad

Snacks - hand full of pumpkin seeds (yes, the same ones from halloween so probably very dodgy!)

Drinks - so many cups of tea I have forgotten

Exercise - 30 minute walk

Joints - aching in the cold this morning

Asthma - ok today

I am not sleeping well again, maybe because I have upped my tea.  I did have to stop drinking it years ago as it was effecting my sleep, then I had 1 and then a few but only before midday but now I drink it all day.  Might try cutting back, I did say might! :P

Where was the cracking???????

Hiya

We had roast pork for tea today but it had very little crackling.  To say I was dissapointed was an understatement! :(

B - nothing, no one got up so I just sat and had a cup of tea in peace
L - ham, cheese and coleslaw
T - roast pork, bit of carrot, cabbage and green beans

Snacks - ham and an out of date packet of pork scrathcings

Exercise - none, didnt get out of house, yougest was ill yesterday so had to stay with him

Quiet day today, looking after my youngest and he is fine.  Thankfully, school tomorrow. :D

Morning all

Cant believe its 9am and I am the only one up, already cleaned kitchen and am now bored.  But if I ever want a lie you, you can bet no one will let me! lol

I am going to turn into an omelette

I feel like I am constantly eating omelettes at the moment.  Twice today infact.

Mmmmmm Homemade Coleslaw

Evening all

Feel like I am coming down with a cold.  I hope not.  :(

B - stilton omelette
L - ham and cheese in mayo with salad
T - mince, tinned toms, celery, onion, herbs with homemade coleslaw.  I got the receipe from a lovely lady on mse and it is very nice.  I will be making this a lot.  I may even add double cream if I remember to buy it!

Snacks - none

Drinks - 2 cups of tea and 1 pint water

Exercise - 2 hours walking

Joints - fingers aching a bit

Asthma - ok

Getting the hang of having easy stuff for lunches when I am working.  got loads of coleslaw left so that should keep me going a few days. :D

Aching fingers and clicking wrists :(

Evening all

So, my fingers are aching and my wrists are clicking.  This means I really do need to STOP eating raw tomatoes.  I think I have prooved that they have an effect on me. :(

Need Sleep...

Evening all

I feel like I havent stopped all day.  But now that I am sat down I am falling asleep. :o  Kids in bed, Enders on catch up then bed I think.

Exercise - does rushing around all day count although most of it was in the car so probably not! lol

Joints - ok today BUT I had a huge tomatoe with my salad tonight so am wonderding if my fingers will ache tomorrow

Well, as I have work tomorrow in stead of butchers I will have to buy more eggs at some point during the day.  Might buy berries and cream if I am feeling extravagent as well! lol  But I do have ham, cheese and salad in a bag so lunch will be easy! :D

Aaaarrrrrgggghhhh No Eggs

Evening all

I am in panic mode, I have run out of eggs.  I cant get any more until Wednesday when I go to the butchers so what am I going to have for breakfast tomorrow? :o  I suppose I could have steaklettes and tinned toms but I was really enjoying my stilton omelettes.  Ah well.

Back From The Lodge

Hiya

We are now home from the lodge.  It was a really nice weekend, lots of nice food and I even won a prize for my dancing :D

Friday's food I had

Drinks - a few cups of tea, beer and wine

Saturdays food

B - 2 rashers of bacon and 1 fried egg
L - ham and cheese salad
T - steak with salad and coleslaw :D

Snacks - nuts

Drinks - 2 cups of tea, water, beer and wine

Exercise - long dog walk and dancing :D

Joints - ok

Asthma - ok

Am suffering today though, even a nap in the car on the way home hasnt helped.  And I left my phone charger there.  :(  But it was a very nice weekend and we will be going back soon as long as my sister lets us. :D

Might as well put on todays food whilst I am here as I have a feeling I wont be doing it later

No Carb!! :(

Evening

So I have run out of salad.  I did have a bit but it was very dodgy, the rabbit liked the lettuce though! :D

We are off to 'the lodge' (my sisters static) tomorrow.  So not sure how I will fair with food as its hard enough at their house.  Also I expect too much alcohol will be drunk.  But no matter, its one weekend, will try to make the best choices I can.
